Meridian Animal Hospital (MAH) is located in Meridian, Texas. Nestled in the beautiful hill country of Bosque County in Central Texas. We are located 45 miles north of Waco on Highway 6, and 45 miles south of Fort Worth by way of Highway 174.

Larry J. Lentschke, DVM - Equine Specialist

Dr. Larry Lentschke is a multiple graduate of Texas A&M University and currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, a Masters of Agriculture in Reproductive Physiology, a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine, and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

He has over 35 years of equine experience encompassing from training, showing, farrier services, ownership, ranch management, breeding management to veterinarian and surgeon. Dr. Lentschke's passion is horses and it shows in his medicine.

We specialize in horses. We continue to provide services in equine medicine, lameness, surgery, dentistry, reproduction and preventive care as well as full-service companion animal medicine and surgery. We have an on-site EIA Lab for Coggins testing.

Our reproductive facility, Meridian Equine Center, focuses on complete stallion reproductive services, year round mare care, breeding and boarding, yearling sales preparation and Quarter Horse Sales. Find out more information.
